FC Barcelona vs Bayer Leverkusen (Pre-Match Analysis.)

Barcelona got back to winning ways against Las Palmas at the weekend, but as they look to get their first Champions League win of the season they'll need to do so without Lionel Messi - who has been ruled out for two months.

There is a lot of speculation on how barca could lineup(or "cope up") in the absence of messi, so here is some potential info about lineups and strategies that barca may adopt under luis enrique without messi.

Here's the team Luis Enrique may turn to against Bayer Leverkusen.

GOALKEEPER:
Claudio Bravo took part in a training session on Sunday, and could be given the nod ahead of Marc-Andre ter Stegen between the sticks. Mats may be rested an ample amount of time as his recent performances are very poor.

DEFENCE:
Dani Alves/roberto
Piqué/bartra
Mascherano
Jordi alba /jermy mathiue

Adriano (picked a knock against Las Palmas )and Thomas Vermaelen are big doubts for the game, while Javier Mascherano and Gerard Pique are likely to take their duties in the central defence. Most probably Jordi alba will be back as LB as he is relieved from the neck pain and mathiue may be subbed in his place at a later point .

Due to bans and injuries our defense is so weak. and players are looking tired especially masche and dani alves. Dani Alves is set to come in at right back though and will look to get forward as much as possible, especially considering Messi will now miss out.

Speaking about bartra he can bring a lot of potential in the squad. he can score goals, assist, and defend properly so he deserves more time out on the feild (considering the recent poor performances from Gerard Pique )

MIDFEILD:
Andres Iniesta was rested for the weekend's win over Las Palmas and should come in to captain the team at Camp Nou, with Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic next to him in their most familiar midfield three.
As messi isn't available midfeild must be very strong so rakitic, buskets, and don are most likely to start. Of course, Rafinha will miss out and miss most of the campaign with injury, after he did damage to his ACL in the last Champions League match with Roma.

FORWARDS :
Lionel Messi's injury means Munir will likely deputise. It'll certainly be interesting to see how Barcelona cope without their main man, but at least they have the likes of Luis Suarez and Neymar to still call upon.
